tidy motor. stick something fruity in it, get the speedo calibrated for mph then see if you can get it off the dial. ;D alternatively, some lowering stick TM, wheels and enjoy.

Welcome, lovely car! Think we got the saloon version here, but never the Sprinter - amusing to think it's the predecessor to all those AE86 GT's!
You a member of any clubs there or visit any of the Japanese shows? I have a friend over there with 10 or so Datsuns, doubtless he could put you in touch if need be.
Tempted to bring it across to the UK for a second visit? I'm sure you'd be given a warm welcome at C.A.R.S.

Whoa, I'm feeling all warm inside... this is a great welcome! I will become a member of the Dutch Toyota club soon, and I'd like to go to the Japan Classic Sunday in July, all japanese brands welcome so should be fun (if you speak Dutch: www.tacn.nl, on the left there's a button marked JCS 2006). Spotted, If your friend's going let me know what car he'll be in so I can look out for him. I think club membership is a good plan since she's a pretty rare car (hope to find out just how rare) and I will need all the help I can get to keep it running, I'm a total noob. Don't know if I'll ever modify it, since it's in pretty good condition and again, quite rare... though a bit of Stick-wielding might be a good idea one day. Guess it will drift perfectly as she stands on her 155/80 Cheng Shin tyres (never heard of them). And now it's time for bed, so bye for now.

I'm going to print this thread on glossy paper, frame it and hang it over my bed ;-) Anyone feel like lowering it photoshopwise? There's an 800x600 version of the pic with the hubcaps on my www.flickr.com/photos/michielverburgh if you feel like it, alternatively I've got a bigger version at home.

Spotted, If your friend's going let me know what car he'll be in so I can look out for him. I'd imagine the white 2400 on the left, as I think that's the best of his current fleet. He's the tall guy standing to the right of it, name's Iwan. I'll PM you his email address later.

Cheers Spotted, nice Dats in the pic by the way. I think I will keep her standard, if I want to try out some slamming or any other mods I'll try it on the Starlet. Hoping to find out the numbers soon (as in how many made/sold in Holland/on the road).

Am tempted by a set of minilites though, 4x110 should fit according to those in the know, only 100 euro for 4 of them. Thoughts on how they will look on the car, anyone?
