funny, your story is same as one of my best friends (2 estelles, wartburg 353w, yugo and lada, 1 parking space) his was got when an old fella kicked the proverbial manual labour transportation instrument, low miles, couple of patches and a good clean for the mot, and showed at the IFA eastern euro car meet, and now (i think) its back in NI at last! same colour and all!
nice to see another one about, couldnt see me in one myself but still, respect to the power of the cause for the people anti government iron curtain bloc cars woot please no more drugs

The car in the background is my Lada Niva, in a drunken state, 4"brush and a tin of red oxide restyled it to look like a hot rod, it was a good idea at the time. I'm going to the Czech Republic in the lada in just over 2 weeks time. ive got to fit a taller diff, decoke and re-ring the engine before i go. The reason for going is the "Internation Lada Meeting" sounds great, the drive there will take me past the Nurburgring, i may have to stop for a lap or four. Paul Waiiiit a sec... You didn't go with my brother did you? Just catching up with this thread now. He's got a rally-prepped Riva that's Porsche Guards Red and runs on Compomotive MOs... He did the same trip, I'm sure of it ;D |
