Bought this feisty little number yesterday. Looks funny, drives funny, but a whole lot of fun! Anyone know much about these? Been told it might be an import? 1987 Mazda 323 4WD 1.6 Turbo 13.9 sec 1/4 @ 15PSI Bilstien coilover suspension, -Drilled and grooved front and rear discs, -Mazdaspeed induction, -3" mazdaspeed exhaust system, -Quickshift gear mech, -Adjustable impedeance injectors, -Boost guage, -Bleed valve, -Dump Valve -Boost intake tempertaure gauge. -Saab Ronal alloys powdercoated in graphite grey. Things I need to sort out: suspension bushes (anyone know where to even start looking for these?) and patch up the exhaust. Front tyres aren't great and arches are full of filler!

Thats outragoeusly cool! Must be a riot to drive ;D Regarding the bushes, i reckon some sort of poly bush company (powerflex, superflex etc) is a better bet than the vacant expression you'll get from mazda They seem to make polybushes for even the most obscure of cars. Welcome to the site! ;D

I think I have posted this on the right site...I'm getting appraisal for this odd car rather than the usual "why the heck have you bought another pile of junk!"

Cool, like the look of that, you don't see many of those around! 4wd + turbo, ideal!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Of course Goes without saying! Got the holes in the exhaust sorted, just got a new bit welded in. Bodgetastic. But then, to buy that new small pipe, its £175. So this will do nicely for now!

As far as I can remember, there wre 452(ish) brought into britain as rally homoligation specials. There were two types, the 'rally' which had manual windows, no sunroof & double rear spoiler & the 'lux' which did have elec metal sunroof, later ones also had elec windows. 148bhp as standard. There's one sat in the shed at home-rally style, in works colours & around 220 bhp @ the wheels-soo much fun for the money, great cars
