 g'day folks.. I'm another UK dubber.. Had my vw caddy for about 4 years, and drove it for about 2 months of that! maybe even less.. I kinda had money troubles after i got the (rather expencive) airbags fitted.. so couldnt afford to do anyhting else to it, SO it sat outside my mates pub for about a year + a half.. The i wanted it to work again, so i spent all alst sumemr repairing any rust patches, etc etc.. And i painted it satin black... Which is kinda more shimmery than mat black... Anyway, it was all legit and working, was gonna take it to the first show if its life, and it died before i had even got out my own town.. I think it had a blockage to the fuel line or something.. ANYWAY THIS YEAR it will be on the road and working..    excuse the cover, i had no choice as my airbag compressor and tanks were just in the bed, so i didnt want them nickin! - they ae gonna be fitted in the spare wheel well space.. got (i forget the name) polished vw rims on, and mini bullet mirrors - the mirrors are comin off as soon as i get round to buying some others.. i cant see curse word out of them!! this is my mates mat black polo..  he rushed it, and is haivng it redone in diablo red or something ? :/ ANyway, nice site u got here, i had a polo saloon till not long back, 1ltr, it was a rate cool little car.. Keep up the good work  (and excuse the curse word pic wquality)

thanks for the warm welcome.. i love my pickup, but i jsut havent had the time to devote to it that id of liked.. I gotta fix the clio have at the mo, then sell that and plough the money into the caddy do you guys meet up anywhere? are we from all around the world here? |

Excellent work on the airbag front, nice to see modern active crash-safety equipment getting installed in these old cars. Remember to deactivate the passenger side one when carrying a babyseat though.

Mmm, exactly the look I was thinking of going with an old caddy that was on ebay but missed the auction :-( Matt black and satin black are the dogs, miss my old golf.  Trying to convince the wife a caddy would be useful for the new fixer upper house we've bought. Nearly got her around to the idea! |
