I bought this 'tina from York about 14 months ago - it needed a lot of work to the running gear and a few holes still need plating it is intended to be a running restoration, although it has been laid up awaiting spares for the last 11 months

Hi, A few years ago and it would be straight down the scrappers with it, but stick with it. Theres plenty potential and they can only go up in value. good luck

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

value is not really important - i have always loved the mk5, had about 12 of them in the past and the colour - Atlantic blue - is quite rare now - spares are still readily available and very cheap to insure a resto/ modified version

welcome! thats cool! it needs to loose a few inchs of ride height, get those ronals on it, and loose some of the rub strips ect and a roof rack with an old xmas tree on the top for the win!

I love these motors the very first car i can remember my folks having too. Nice one you have there mate not too much to do in welding terms though

The front subframe assembly needed considerable work brake discs replaced with vented discs and spaced M16 calipers, new steering rack and track rod ends new springs new shock absorbers new tie rods and all the bushes renewed
