She's basically completely restored to orginal standard, took best part of a year but got there in the end. She be summer daily drive. End of March is her first outing

carpets mate, dark grey ones. May have been a dealership option like the vinyls were, am unsure. The the previous owner (77 year old lady from ipswich) had it from new and kept every receipt etc forever and the carpets were never an addition she has mentioned.
Had it serviced at volkswagen every year till 2003!
