Finally brought it back to the farm last night on my highly illegal towing dolly, the operation went smoothly and I was so pleased to make it back without any police intervention I went straight into the pub afterwards. What a great car, really good nick!

Hey FREAK YOU buddy! heres the god damn pics OK? get your golf balls round this lot then:  Got into the garage just in time as someone detonated a nuclear warhead outside. Phew! Also, check the saggy-ass 'bingo wing' headlining.   Jump in, lets drive!!! w00t!!!!  Hey, I got 122bhp right there. Yo!  In the new garage. Thats not a dead fox on the back window its my Barbour jacket.  "Shut the door man, i'm freezing mi cods off!!" And check out the teasing glimpse of the green Beta in the background! The Argenta had sat in a dry garage for 15 YEARS before I picked it up. It seems to be 100% rot-free, and has had just a little paintwork on the nsf front wing. It has covered 90k and needs a fuel pump (standard bosch efi effort) and a timing belt to run. All the eleccy windows and 'vehicle check' panel work, its freaking great! £100 well spent. Unfortunately my 'new garage' is a bit of a backward step for it as the roof leaks rather badly. Hopefully I will get that sorted in the next couple of months, failing that I will have to wedge the Fiat in the barn somewhere. |
