Cool, sunloti! Thanks for the specs 6.6 is fast as hell!! I bet you already had some pale faces in your rear mirror after a start at the trafficlights.. hehe especially from young drivers with "fast" hatches.. hehe Since I am not an english native speaker, I didnt understand some of the abbreviations.. Id be glad if you could explain them to me... what do you mean with LSD? (to me thats either a drug or the so called "Lambo-Style Doors" that open like scissors) ;D

VW Dan,ok they arn`t the biggest Cibies you`ve ever seen but they are Iode 45`s. I could have put these on but i don`t think the bumper could take the weight of em. I didn`t really want to put lamp brackets on and i do think the 45`s suit the car quite well. gofasterpinch, thanks for the offer and i will Pm you i anything springs to mind, iv`e got a few bits lying around so the same applies too you. Sorry to bump such an old thread but I just love these Sunbeams (and the contempoary HS Chevette). Can't help thinking this one's riding about 1" too high at the front though?

Don't think I've ever seen an A-plated Avon before, love these, they are absolute torque-monsters to drive. Here's my mate Deano's BumSeam, now with 235bhp of Maynard Engineering-built Red Top XE under the bonnet. I've driven it once. Scared me sh1tless!!!!

Thanks for all the new comments, ain`t been on here for a while. Re the comment of the suspension being 1" higher than it should be,the car was not sitting level and the ride height looks worse than it is on the photo. Skip Brown Roadspeed conversion all round and the car sits pretty much bang on when on level ground. I try to get to a few shows a year so next time you see me say hi and we can chat cars.
