That looks really smart. Well done that man and welcome to the forum. Perhaps another 4-AGE in the back too would sort out any of those FWD-related negative points! ;D

Cool. Always fancied having a go in an AE82 but never got round to owning one yet. Looks to be in good condition. How much difference do the engine mods make? Or have you not tried one standard. I know when I had my AE86 the fensport ported head was supposed to take it up to about 145-150BHP with no other mods.

thanks guys my last one was standard, engine wise. it certainly hasn't taken it up to 145bhp. it wasn't me who had it ported, so i don't honestly know for sure that it has been done. obviously, i was told it was. all i can base it on, is that it feels torquier than my last one, especially in 5th on the motorway. and the fact that when i picked this one up, i still had my old one, and me and my dad raced them away from a standing start, and this one was slightly quicker. having said that, it's had a full engine rebuild, with the bottom end from the AE92 used, so it could just be that it's in a healthier state ;D i'll have to look into that fensport head though. i've gotten used to the performance now...and a focus ST170 beat me the other day

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Nice car, but what's with the multiple-thread necro-age?

Felt like i'd exhausted page 1's cars, so thought i'd give some of the oldest ones i can find that were missed or interesting a chance. only goes back to 2005 though, so i seen most of em!

I think this 82's been sold on since then- I remember it being up for sale last year anyway, wherther it sold or not is another question I havent seen it at the J meet I used to see it at since. It really was as good as it looks in the pics....
