Hi all, As promised, (a very long time back!) some pics of my Clubman with it's new 6x12 supalites, I did eventually go for Yokohamas after briefly deliberating going for Falkens (not a bad tyre by all accounts), but the cost difference didn't make it worthwhile. Anyways, I am loving it, and recent engine mods and fiddling have changed my mind about selling her! Pics courtesy of Daz at the Mini show at Sandon Hall last sunday, cheers fella! ;D

They look good... like the ammount of dish on the 6 compared with the 5's I've got on mine!
I'd guess the yokos are A539's from looking at them so I'd say they'll be 165/60 x 12 too.

Rmad, Mildly boring adminy-moany bit acknowledged Cheers for the positive comments guys! The tyres are indeed 165/60x12 A539s, and possibly the best allrounder I have ever used, the wet weather grip is stunning! Just bought some original GT clocks from ebay so hopefully I'll have them fitted soon! ;D

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

I think he must still be fixing them, I haven't heard from him for a while.
I'll field this one;
Wheels are 12x6" Minilights from Huddersfield Mini Spares and the arches are grp5 Euros but I can't remember where he got them.

The car belongs to a good friend of mine. The wheels are very deep dish and the car has been lowered quite a bit, not sure exactly how much, it was done by eye It got lots of attention when we took it to Germany recently. ;D I'm sure Chris wouldn't mind if you PM'd him. He may take a while to get back to you though as he has been a little busy lately.

Group 5 Euros have hidden fixings for a smoother finish, where your basic group 5 has externally visible fixings. Chris has group 5 euros on his car. Be warned; Euros are a pain in the to fit!!

Seconded! ;D especially the back ones, it's far easier to take the rear windows out when doing the rear arches, I kid you not! either that, or develope some 4 foot long arms! well, as long as you have the opening rear windows anyway!
