Evening all, been a long time lurker and love the rides that are being banded about. Here is my latest project, 1978, 1500 GLS, Metallic Bronze with Tobacco Interior... Very Original, but also very tatty, not for long though  Sorry for the pics size and quality, I am just getting used to the camera....    |

Oh and almost forgot my last project 58 Beetle, still doing some finishing touches, but she is an ongoing thing I don't think that she will ever be fully finished...........  |

Not going to do very much, keeping the paint stock and the interior stock as well. I found out that not many were imported in this colour and trim... Will not really be modified apart from suspension (coilovers) and a nice set of old skool rims (still to be decided)

may i be so bold as to suggest porsche teledials ;D I am open to suggestions, I was originally looking for the 3 door, and it was going to have Design 90's on, but this came up locally and was too good a deal to turn down. Thing is everyone is doing the porsche wheel thing on golfs now, so might look for something different. |

I like the Golf a lot! Keep us updated with progress, also let me know if you need a Haynes manual for it as I think I have a spare. Also I may have an original sales brochure if you fancy it? |

Dude, I am loving those rims especially these one's....  Moving house three weeks today, so I am skinto....Still spyed a lovely brown leather GTI Steering wheel (oh how rare!!!) and some chrome bumpers. |

there's a mk1 GTi in my local scrappy
if you need owt, i think i've got a load
of brown dash trim you can have including
a spare steering wheel, remind me before
our paths cross again, Vanfest ?
left you a PM on VZi but looks like you
need the steering wheel i have already
that i got at BVF, you're welcome to it
if you want it for £20, what i paid.
its the right brown leather but no hornpush.
probably work out much cheaper than
any other you've been offered ?

The wheel is a go mate, £20 sounds excellent, I am sure I can get a horn push from somewhere.
