Hi, I'm new to RR, but i thought i would post up some piccys of my rides...... This is my main project, an '87 convertable. this is her just after i got her.......... We ran her for a year, fitted a 16V astra lump and enjoyed. Then we decided on a full rebuild. This is her today Now running a 2.5 V6, not quite finished yet, should be ready for next spring...... My daily project Mk2 CDi 2.0 auto, one owner and 90,000 miles with FSH Couple of months later.......... 15's, lowered, SRi gas suspension and 16V engine, trying to keep it sleeper style

Welcome! Those Mk2 Cavs have just disappeared from UK roads! That drop-top is looking mint - must be a massive amount of work in that! Cool sleeper too! Sleepers are me favourite

the cabby has been bare shelled and completely repainted, all the running gear has been reconed or is brand new. Just in the process of putting it all back together and getting the V6 running right, from there the install has got to be fitted and then all the niggley jobs have got to be sorted before she goes for her MOT.
The Sleeper is fun, we have upset a few hot hatches recently ;D

Your sleeper thing is KWLATYI! I love it! These 'Makem Paul Shaped' cavaliers are going to come right onto my 'must buy one quick' radar any minute!
Tell you what though, there were a couple of shockingly barried-up ones at the RCS.

The speakers in the back of the cabby are tune up speakers, the bulk of it will be going in the boot with some customer door pods being made up currently. I missed RCS this year was gutted, especially aftre the previous year which was cracking, there were some barried ones there then....some of them were awful and the owners need slapping Cheers for the comments, as soon as i make some more progress i will put some more piccys up

FANTASTIC!!
Just a few short years ago the Mk2 Cav was 'Weapon of choice' round my way. We all 'ad 'em, owing to their cheapness, simplicity and speed advantage over barried up shoping trollies.
The ultimate was always the 'Commander' with it's Fed-spec steel wheels. Where have they all gone???

Looking good, reminds me of faffing about with MK2 cavaliers and Astras in my late teens. We never managed to get any of them looking that good though

Cool Cavs! They are definitely disappearing fast... Shame too, such a clean shape! When I was about 17 and into Minis a mate had a CD one, lotsa luxury for the money! They respond well to the traditional euro-look treatment ;D

Loving the Cabrio, very nice, and with a V6!, sweet! However, I really, really like your Cavalier saloon, pure class! it's so very tidy looking, but a really quite potent sleeper, love it! ;D You need some little stickers that have burberry caps with red crosses over them to slap on the drivers door to show how many Kevs you have wasted in it! that may give the game away a bit though!
