sweet car, this guy the shizz when it comes to metros (and killer paint jobs). Its got ot be retro if it was on the cover of retro cars. needs a roof rack for full euro style, come on aid you know it makes sense

wow, tell me more about your MPi conversion. Could you get an 8v MPi from the factory? did you find a 16v inlet manifold went on OK?

All the mpi system is taken from a late rover 100 8valve..but no you couldnt get an 8valve actual rover metro with mpi off the production line so could well be a first. Wasnt a 5 minute job as had to change the alarm unit to use the later type ecu, along with flywheel ettc etc.
Goes well for what it is but hoping to be dropping a 1.8k VVC in pretty soon ;D

Cheers for the welcomes...looking forward to gettin to a few shows now so you can see it in the metal. The third pic down was take just a few weeks ago just...done nearly 30k since the restoration and was a 300mile a week daily user for most of last year   |
