ive just realised ive never put the pics in here. I think most have seen them before though. Heres the (slightly) modified bug    and my recently acquired W123 daily runaround.  |

the benz definitely needs to be slammed - i am just trying hard to focus my funds on the bug for the minute. Especially when I'm rebuilding my motorbike at the same time.
The beetle is booked on a ferry for 12th August. We are all anticipating building the car in the first 12 days on August. Its definitely going to be close ...

good choice of second car ;Dthey are brilliant motors.
had mine nearly 3 years, and its never let me down once.even when i drove to newquay and back (900 miles round trip+driving round when i was there) with a totally collapsed cv joint at the diff end.all it did was make a slight noise at under 20 mph.
what engine is in it, 4 or 6?
if its a 4 you'll have to watch your sump.the front gets very close to the ground.
when mine gets its lowered springs in i think I'm gonna catch the front valance on the speed bumps that are on the way out of where i live.but i don't care. ;D

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.
