Then this came up in 2002, proper animal. Its the only remaining ex-free formula Mini, having a new lump built, with help from Pete Vickers. Proposed spec, 1293, split Weber 45's, full race cam, sccr box with slipper. Can't wait.
Daily ride, Peugeot 106 XSi, 1400 8v MPI TU lump, goes like stink for what it is, I keep breaking it though. Crying out for a 16v conversion, thats bottom of my priorities though. Check it out in this Months Performance GTi magazine...
Got this about 6 weeks ago, ex sprint/climb Richard Longman built 1293, Weber 45, 286 cam, Metro Turbo block, Revo's, A008's, Grp5 arches, RC40, Luke Harnesses, OMP seat etc etc, more tame than the Rebel, needs some bodywork before I can get it MOT'd.
