well i bought this camper of a guy that felt it got a bit too big for him to drive. this is how i got it. a bit time spent removing stickers, lights, bullbar, tv ariel, neons, and tons of other stick on curse word. Stick on a set of modern alloys, then bring the whole lot closer to earth, we get to today!! don't use it a great deal, but its a life saver when we go to the shows

Wow, what a transformation, bet it didn`t take too long to do either. Such simple things make a massive difference.

you've got 'vision'! If went to see a camper and found that as you did, i'd have run a mile! Disgusting! However it looks quality now. Good work.

I've got to admit that you have absolutely GREAT taste when it comes to cars. They are mostly pretty much how i'd have them look. If I had the money i'd have a camper tucked away for weekends and shows too. And JUST like yours - got lots of pictures from mania and the like and they look so nice with the factory bodykit. Was a Whitestar day camper at Alltypes for sale that looked very nice - they wanted £5800 for it though. I was trying to get my dad to buy one off ebay a month or so ago, and it went for the buy it now price before we managed to go and view it - about £2500 if i remember correctly. I'll get one eventually though, but needs to be able to tow the trailer and car - thinking a 2.1i should be up to the job.

I'll get one eventually though, but needs to be able to tow the trailer and car - thinking a 2.1i should be up to the job. I've got 1.9 DG engined T3 Panel van and it's well up to towing my Beetle on a trailer at 60 (it's illegal to tow any faster ) all the way from Sheffield to Santa Pod/Shakespeare County Raceway and back again.

Looking at getting a T3 myself - preferably a multivan, which seem to all be LHD & have the 1.6 TD engine - what do you reckon to the performance of this engine? (I know the straight 1.6 diesel is rather poo)
