Thought it was about time i got off mi backside and posted some pics of my trackday weapon.
Going on the previous owners decription, the engine spec is as follows:-
2 litre twin cam with aliquati cams,gas flowed and ported head off an 1800 124 running on twin webber 45s,janspeed exaust system which is too quiet! There's more noise out of the front than the back! Sachs race clutch with standard 131 sport gearbox.
The axle is a hybrid fiat/ford english axle with a slippy diff using fiat axle tubes,halfshafts and drums.Not sure what the ratio is but its definatley lower geared than the standard 3.9 diff.
Wheels are 13x8.5 minilite copies with dunlop medium compound tarmac rally tyres.
A few jobs needed before its out on the track.The fibreglass bonnet needs strengthening up(tries to double up at 60mph!),the slippy diff hardly works so some fresh plates needed there and the carbs want setting up on the rolling road.It went straight through the emissions for the mot so they cant be set right!
Oh and grandads carpet is coming out of the front!
