Hey i picked it up this weekend and drove it 500 miles home. The car is a one-owner, never bumped, full-service-historied minter. only issue is the rear bumper is a bit mangled and has no end caps. check it out:    I don't know the story behind it but is clearly an old boy's car, hence it has plenty of 'Edmonton dog training club' stickers in the window and a full 'old boy's kit' stashed in various locations around the car, the key items are pictured below:  The kegs were in the glovebox, I assume they were used for window-wiping duties... The boiler room:  the captain's quarters:  Living room:  QUALITY!!! |

Put them pants on ebay. 'lightly used retro kegs....delicately designed council house briefs for the retro man' Package it in a plastic bag and put lots of indecipherable japanese writing on it.....  |

The whole car exudes a no-nonsense 'what? what is the fuss all about?' old-boy kind of attitude, exemplified by the windscreen-cleaning undercrackers. in fact i think you had to have a particularly no-nonsense approach to buy one of those Mazdas new in 1987, mine must be one of the last sold in the UK. its a super-sturdy old bus with NO FRIVOLITY or interest anywhere; but cool nonetheless. |
