Owing to the lack of show-age on in the local area this weekend ( ), we decided to take a trip about 7 miles down t'road to Stondon Transport Museum. An excellent visit with a very varied static display spanning over 100 years. Also there were quite a few interesting tit-bits to be found out in the car park, and a selection of cars that the museaum has for sale. As ever I had my trusty Nikon in hand, so to see IMO the pick of the day, CLICK THIS LINK!!!. I'm not gonna put all teh pics up on here as there's rather alot and they're quite big, but feel free to have a browse and link a few you like. There really is something for everone in this little lot!

Maybe we should have a Retro Rides meet at Stondon. Looks like it could be a good day out.

Mmmm, Austin Ambassador, swish. My dad had a couple of Princesses (sp?) Not bad little barges, both had the 2.2 straight six, nice.
As long as you didn't mind the build quality and the naf colours they came in.
Hotwire!!!!!!
No, it isn't wrong, just different ;D

nickB-i particularly liked that shot too.very clever, planned or lucky? ;D I'd like to say that it was just luck. But in reality it was carefully planned . I was a little frustrated that so many of the exhibits were so tightly crammed in - it meant that alot of "arty" shots I'd have liked to have done were impossible!
