club lotus meet 18-19 march

I do agree but it's dominated by Elise and Exige these days

I didn't say they weren't ;D

And if you own a Lotus that isn't an Elise or Exige it's kinda a waste of time going

It's just the whole event is totally geared up to providing them with every possible assessory

It didn't used to be the case but in the last couple of years it's got a lot worse

I ve been going over several years even had my car on a stand inside the hall one year - it's changed as things do - for some for the better for others for worse

just opinions and feelings - nothing meant or intended to offend

so you wouldnt bother???

more into pre elise stuff do it get swamped by modern stuff or shold i just rag to paul mattys ;D

I think people should make up their own mind - and hell even though I won't be going this year it could all change - didn't mean to be critical or put people off at all it just what I think and i said it out loud

I guess the badge on the bonnet doesn't help!!!

Four of us in LC's turned up in convoy to one of the Lotus Factory Open days and the security guard refused us access to club/lotus parking

This is a brief precis of the conversation

- side (both Sides)

- back (Boot Lid)

- Engine Bay (twice Chassis plate and Rocker cover)

- interior (Three times - glove box lid, steering wheel and the instruments)

I can't believe it either but they missed the one on the bonnet"
