For those not up on the engine code speak - which one is that then? M116 is the 350, M117 is the 450 and 500. Although I'm not sure if they didn't call the 380 the M116 and the 420 the M117 too. I think the 420 has a different cap though. |

M116 is indeed the all alloy 420, M117 covers the alloy 500 and the 560 too. The dizzy is identical across all the alloy V8s too for future info (according to a few sources on an American forum...) |

M116 is indeed the all alloy 420, M117 covers the alloy 500 and the 560 too. The dizzy is identical across all the alloy V8s too for future info (according to a few sources on an American forum...) Uh uh. Early 380 and 500 dizzy is much smaller. Went to the big one after about aug '85. 420 and 560's are all big type, but there is a crossover on 380 and 500's. |

Thanks for the info UP... turns out this is the small cap. So... I think... this is for the 350, 450, and some 380 and 500 models. I think... My brain hurts. But it's still for sale. Can post up a pic and dimensions if anyone is interested |
