I'm just testing the water here as I don't really want to sell but here goes..
Richardson 2000kg twin axle tilting car transporter, ive owned it for about 5 years. Bed is about 15ftx6ft. Takes volvo 740s e.t.c. Its approx 15 years old but was subject to a rebuild this late last year. The bed is 3mm sheet steel, ideal for winching on wrecks for weighing in, cars with no wheels, reliant robins and general freight carrying as theres no gap in the middle like normal car transporters. It had new auto reverse brakes (£150), had the bearings stripped, adjusted and packed with fresh grease, a couple of tyres replaced and was thouroughly blasted, etch primed and sprayed with truck chassis paint in blue underneath and on top (£300) The wheels were also blasted and sprayed silver, the bed was sprayed in truck bed black. Total rewire and brand new lights too! Ive used it once since it was rebuilt.
It had a new heavy duty hitch about 5 years ago and new mudguards about 3 years ago (one has been damaged and repaired)
BAD POINTS.
Winch has been removed as it was broken but the mast is still there ready for a new winch.
Few dents and dinks in the tailgate and side rails. Doesnt make any difference to the trailer really, done years ago.
Brakes still need adjusting up properly.
Jockey wheel totally knackered.
Thats about it.
Reason for selling? I don't use the trailer enough anymore and its going to suffer through lack of use. The reason I had to replace the brakes was because they had seized up. I'm also paying to store it down a yard which is a waste of money. Hopefully ill get something more suited to occasional use such as a tow dolly or A frame.
I'm after £750 ONO, the trailer is in Stoke on Trent.
