I may soon need to find and buy some headlights from a Landrover Defender.
Yes, the headlights on my bus are left hand drive lights, so the "throw" is to the right, and thus wrong for an MOT.
Who knows of LR scrappers, or where to start looking.
Alternately of course buying new may be a better option.

Pog, I am not sure which one it will be.
I suspect that Thorsten (Totti) who has the light blue 2.8 Transit on here would have gone modern, however, still waiting to hear more info. They may have to be modded, but as the bus will end up on 12volt, I may as well go modern.

Starting to sound good guys, I need to make sure the lights work right for my own sake and the MOT mans when I get there.
Still many little things to fettle, and correct, like the tyres that are 1962/3 vintage.
£6.50 sounds like my sort of money.

The halogen conversion kit for an old mini is about £30 iirc. This gives you the standard fitting round lenses, but with a fitment to take a normal H4 bulb so you can actually see something in the dark. You could then go to town afterwards with fancy bulbs of a HID kit.
