hmmm...funny you were looking at this site 'cause I came across the same site the other day. I must add I wasn't googling for mammaries or devon, but most of these photo's were taken in the seventies - which can only mean seventies streets with cars or rather more specially Datsuns....yes I'm that tragic. One of dozens of seventies cars.... I even bought a copy of 'Police Story' with Jackie Chan from a charity shop simply cause it features a MK2 Escort driving wrecklessly down a hill. There's a neat Mazda 929 in it too.....

A double decker would make a great camper.
Or a great way for a ch*v to transport all his kids about. ;D

It gets weirder... go on 'Eastern Counties' and there's a picture from 2000 of a moderny-type bus, the 26 to University, with a guy i remember from my Electronic Principles seminar getting on it i used to work opposite that bus stop in Maplin... aaah those were the days anyway. i wasted two hours on that site yesterday and i'm not going to do it again so i'm not clicking the link. no! you can't make me! it's a bus-spotters site! i got carried away yesterday, i was trying to identify a beetle from a blurred top half of a tail-light and a glimpse of number-plate light housing

This is a shot of where I live from the 1960s ... note the lack of cars ... Sometimes I have to park 3-4 streets away ! When I first moved in here in 1984 though - I can remember the streets were pretty empty even then. Its just the last 10 years that have seen a massive increase in cars. Sorry ... a bit off topic that ;D
