Thing is, I'm having a major love affair with my Senator at the moment. I've bought a couple of motors recently and immediately thought they were nowhere near as good as my Senny, so I sold them again virtually straight away. Buying this may be another wasted exercise, so if anybody else fancies a crack, I don't think I will be.

My missus had one of these in the nineties, but I think it was a slightly earlier model. Lovely car, bit ragged around the edges, but the engine was like a turbine. Price of spares scared the hell out of me though. The power steering belt tensioner started screaming, so I went to the Nissan dealer, asked about a price for a bearing and was told I could only buy the complete tensioner, £100 plus. I fixed it for about four quid in the end. Sold the car for fifty quid eventually. I think it was exported to Africa.
