I won't be there when you cross the road, so always use the Green Cross Code.

We've even had a couple of inches in Hastings!
So much so, that one silly curse word driving a sodding great Shogun LWB managed to lose control, going *UPHILL* at 20mph and planked a Jag XJ6 (Series 3) parked up the road.
I would have taken a piccie for you all to enjoy but the owner of said Jag was mightily upset and I thought it would be poor taste.
Sadly, the Escort I've got is as much fun as colonic irrigation in the snow (actually its as much fun as an unlubricated rectal probe in nice weather) and the Golf has thrown its toys out of the pram - I think some damp has got into the electrics. The Beemer's not MOT'd and the Imp is 20 miles away.... bahhhhh!

Just cos something is good for you doesn't mean its good for everyone - for example Marmite does not make good Dog Food.

Cooooooll (literally) Even the Derby had a bit of 'tail-happy' action coming into work this morning too (obviously helped with liberal use of the handbrake! ;D)

[grumble] Its all well and good having a play in the cold stuff. But I'm really not enjoying it right now. Not only have I spent the last few nights working outdoors (parky at 4am) but I had a real heart-in-the-mouth incident this morning. Driving back from London at about 5.30 am. The roads were pretty clear but I didn't want to be pushing it too much. So up the A1 at abou 75-80, all is well as the roads have been gritted (unlike bits of london which were proper ice rink!). Pull out into the outside lane to pass a brand new focus when suddenly the road surface goes all "white" and the car goes all "floaty". Clearly the gritters hadn't got this far!!! Had to ease off VERY gently indeed. Scary. Oh look and now it's started jeffing snowing again. here's to another night of freezing my nuts off [/grumble]

Snow expected over the Brecon Beacons tomorrow - hurrah! Now should I take the 244 automatic, the Cortina (which I bent in last year's snowfall) or for real slow-speed fun, the HA van...?
