It always make me laugh when they say all the hard works been done. Then why are you selling it?
I was looking at grannys on the bay earlier as I'm trying to find a dirt cheap 2 litre injection engine for the tina and theres a couple of nice coupes on there for not too silly money at the moment.

Yeah, I know what you mean! Thay must be taking a hugh loss on what I cost to get it this far in the first place!
Can you not get an old Sierria for less? Somthing with crash damage and whip out the engine?

Breakers across the country are full of Sierras with decent engines, or for the more brave, Cosworth Scorpio's or Zetec Mondeos Just something about a Mk1 Granada Coupe Diesel that doesn't 'sound right'... even if it is a v8. Weren't the Coupe's a bit rare? I do like the look of 'em, and the price is pretty good for a solid car.

Yeah the coupes are rare, another favorite for the Banger races I think. I have not seen one at a show let alone a road for so long!

Certainly been a while since I saw a Granada coupe, although I'm not sure an Oldsmobile diesel isn't the best choice, wouldn't a petrol Ford V8 be more fitting if you wanted a V8 from the US?

I saw a Granny coop at Newark autojumble a few months back. Really like them. The diesel 8 banger is a bit of a strange choice!! Dunno why he's suggesting a Rover V8 when Ford do perfectly good ones! Does anyone know why he refers to the Essex as a "rubber band"? Never heard that term before
