I need to sell my SEC to fund its replacement (an SL) so ive decided to put it up for sale
The description of the car is as follows......
Climate Control
Cruise control
Electric memory seats
Electirc windows all round
Electric sunroof
Electric steering column
Electric mirrors
Electric seatbelt presenters
Electric aerial
Central Locking
Origional Becker radio/cassette player (with a choice of later becker RDS unit)
Unused first aid kit
Mercedes Toolkit
5.5 litre 300bhp engine
Basically the car is a well looked after honest example of what would have been one of the most expensive coupes available in 1988
Ive had a few jobs done since purchasing the car such as.....
New brake discs and pads to the front
New Hydraulic pipes to the rear suspension
New electric aerial
Alloy wheels refinished
Leather interior refinished
The car comes with a full service history (mainly at Lancaster Mercedes and Hendon way Service centre) and I have just had it serviced by SPR Autos (Mercedes specialist) in Stockport
Mileage is a tad over 134000 and the car is running like a dream....all electrics are present and in full working order and the car will be offered for sale with 11months MOT and 6 months tax
The car is in pretty good condition but there are a couple of little points to be aware of....the leading edges of the front wings have begun to show signs of rust (this is a common fault on W126 Mercs) ive been quoted £250 to have them spot blasted and repainted and there are two small cracks in the dashtop (due to sunlight). If these two items were seen to the car would look like new!
