For sale is my 1965 For Mustang Convertible Deluxe. Finished in white with the rare red pony interior, she comes complete with power hood, power steering and air con (although the belt has been taken off the air con as it's not really needed in the UK and the extra power is nicer!!). She is also fitted with the Rallye Pack (steering column mounted tacho and clock(currently not wired up)). Fitted with white wall tyres and multi spoke wheel trims, this car oozes appeal and gains admiring glances wherever she goes!! She is MOT'd until October this year (has been used very little since the last MOT) and has spent the last few years as an exhibit at the London Motor Museum in Hendon. Taxed until July 2008 (Tax exempt of course though) She has been repainted to a very high standard a few years back and has no rust issues whatsoever. There are a couple of minor dinks and chips and I'm being picky!! She is not a concours car, but she is an extremely well presented usable Mustang convertible. She is fitted with the 3.3 staright six engine which just purrs. I have just fitted her with a brand new manifold to replace the old one which after 42 years had decided to blow a bit too much!! She has recently been fitted with a brand new carb as well. There is no reason why this car won't last another 42 years!! The red vinyl folding roof has faded over the years from the sun but is still in excellent condition. The chromework is in excellent condition as well. There is a tonneau cover for the car which prestuds on, but a couple of the prestuds have come off. Like I said, I do like to be honest about the car! The car is fitted with the period radio which works perfect. (although you won't be plugging you ipod into it!!) Very little history came with the car although I do have the address of the previous owners and it is believed he still has a fair bit of the history of the car. I have used her to commute to work for the past few days and she drives like a dream (gaining much attention in the process!) I am a private car collector and took this car in Part ex a few months ago but I still yearn for a UR Quattro to compliment my Audi collection and I have found the perfect one for me but funds mean something must go to make way for my new toy! My loss could be your gain!! I may part ex for something interesting but it must be plus cash my way as I need my UR fix this year!! All funds must be cleared in my bank account before the car is released.
