Sadly, the Blue miniMetro HLS is still sitting on my driveway looking rather sad. I have no chance of sorting it out. You may remember that the engine dropped a valve. Bummer! I really am open to offers as I just need it gone. I've got another project and the space would be handy. I'm losing cash on this big time but I'd rather just see the thing saved now. So, who wants it and what is your best offer? Will have to be a mid-week collection unless you can wait a while as weekends are a bit manic!

Right, come on people. This Metro needs to be gone. I did briefly think about turning it into a funky project but to be honest, I've already got a funky project in the form of the Dyane! I need the space so if anyone wants it, they can have it for the total price of sweet FA! Just don't p1ss me about. Turn up, take it away. Good as. I have the paperwork - it is even still MOTd! But engine damage is an unknown quantity after the valve-drop.
A small donation would be nice but I'm fed up with it and how much it gets in the way. If no-one has it, I'll be scrapping it. Which is a shame.
Honda - I'm holding the sale as it is a fine car really. Just a bit bland!

Not a bad idea Tim! Might suggest that. Sacrifice the bloomin' thing which is without doubt, the most frustrating car I've ever owned. Took ages to get it on the road and when I do, it goes horribly wrong!!
Meanwhile, our Mini just keeps going (oooooh, touch wood!!!!) proving that not all AR products are shyte.

Well, it ain't driving anywhere! Think the valve has become jammed now. It was running (wife drove 20 miles!) but it is a sick bunny.

Huntingdon you say.... Hmm. Well if no-one else has confirmed within say 48 hrs, give me a buzz and I'll come and scrape it up. Roof-chop trial run you say? Oh yes.

Well, I'm going to try and save it - having been talked into it by folk on 'ere! Yes, I can do it!
Shame though, as the speedster sounded fun! Maybe I should buy an angle grinder...

Nice one DW. Straight like-for-like engine swap will be fairly straightforward. As long as you label up all the wiring (can't be much on those!) and remember / write down how it all goes back, you should be fine. Plus you'll have all the support you need from the guys here!

Thanks Craig but I'm going to try and sort it out. Hope it's just a matter of valve, or maybe head replacement but we'll see once I get it off.
