the merc behaved impecably in the snow,but for the first time ever i cant get to work.so ive come home.i might make a snowman and have a snowball fight.thats the traditional thing to do when this happens isnt it? ;D

It snowed 4 times here today. Each time it lasted no longer than five minutes and now it just looks like it been raining.
Its not fair, I wanna fugging day off.

u shouldve just pushed the jacknifed truck outta the way with merc bud.no prob ;D ;D that might have worked had i not been at the back of a 9 mile tailback. ;D skocan-you wouldnt believe how our country comes to a stand still after an inch or so of snow.everyone just drives like a dry road,then wonders how they managed to put their car through a fence.4x4 doesnt always help either.i drove round a woman who was stuck on a medium incline in a range rover.its mad ;D |

I'm one of the nearest guys to work. About 1.5 miles away so the snow would have to be very bad for me not to go in. Also the other half just got a Jeep so looks like I have no excuses at all now. |

I've got a 110-mile round trip to Earl's Court every night this week for work. You can keep your snow, thanks...much as I'd love not to have to work engineering shifts, I've only got a one-week window to get this work done or my nads will be on the block.  |

I could say the following to my work:
"Well you see I have this Limited slip diff and it just makes me go sideways up the road. I'd rarther stay at home at least then I won't do any harm to my car..."
*Puts the phone down and grabs capri's keys to have some Seriously lairy responsible car parking*
Oh there is another way I could skip work and thats because I work in a school!!!!! The slightest sign of snow and headteachers close up shop!

Bloody snow!! What kind of schizofrenic weather is this man?! I have the unenviable part-time job of a delivery driver atm... Sprinter + steep hill + frozen snow = not going f**kin anywhere except sideways  . Managed to squirm into a telegraph pole as obviously the gritters need more that TWO WEEKS warning to get their fat a$$es out and grit the roads. £160 a year in road tax and they can't sort that out!? Disgraceful! I always wonder how we managed to build the British Empire when the entire country grinds to a standstill 'cos of a dusting of snow.  |

we did quite well round here (near Ipswich) 6-7inches this morning.
left an hour early so I could play with the RWD along the country lanes to work this morning. ;D........kept the school kids entertained at the various bus stops i passed ;D

we have a couple of inches... dropped the kid off at school, then went to Asda - ooh look, a deserted carpark. what's good is it's all flat with a few kerbs to mark the end of the parking bays at either end, making it a pretty good drift track. and there's not even a trolley bay and nobody parked so the only damage i'm gonna do is to my pride i love Quattro! |
