Hi all, the time has come to sell my Scirocco Scala, as I have just bought a Corrado, otherwise I would definitely not be selling!
This is a superb example of a Scirocco, everything has been taken care of as and when required and it generally never skips a beat. The car will sell with MOT until 1/08 and Tax until 12/07, it has covered just over 107k miles and has had the following:
Recent Cambelt/Alt Belt
Recent Shock Absorbers
Recent Brake Shoes, CV Boots, Wheel Bearings
New Clutch in 2005, with new cable and bulkhead re-enforcement panel fitted
New tyre 2 weeks ago
Uprated headlight wiring loom (so you can actually see where you're going at night!)
JVC KD S550 CD Player/Radio
The car has been very well cared for by myself and the owners before me (looking at the service history, which is present from new, and comprehensive from 1994).
The interior is far above average for a white trimmed scirocco, with the rear seats hardly used at all! There are no rips at all, the drivers seat is slightly marked and darker in colour, as the photo shows, but this can only be expected and has been cleaned whenever possible.
There are 3 very small spots of rust on the doors, as shown in the photo, which could be very easily sorted.
The white alloys are in exceptional condition, they were re-sprayed approxiamately 2 years ago. The rears are perfect, and the front wheels come up well when washed.
The "Rip Curl" and "Billabong" Decals are the only outward mods, I have left them on as I think they are tasteful enough, but I'm sure they could be removed if desired, following which the car is totally standard (less the headlight upgrade and CD Player)
I have tried to be as thorough as possible and would reccomend coming to see this car as I'm sure you'll not be dissappointed.
Car comes with space saver spare wheel, original jack, a Haynes Manual and a spare set of spark plugs!
I'm looking for £800 but am open to sensible offers
