I have aquired this gem of German Engineering for the princely sum of £21!
How many cars, er, too bloody many! ;D Haven't been to fetch last weeks "treasure" yet either.
The missus goes fruit about it, but the way I see it if I miss a night in the pub (like I have for the last few weekends) why not spend me pub money on £20 snotters!! ;D

That way she'll have no problem with you going out, because she knows it's better that you stagger in pi**ed than you cruise in with another knackered old motor! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Probably it will go like this... I'll get it home, look at it for a bit. maybe drive it for a day or two then get bored. I will then raid the "tat" corner in my Dad's shop, grabbing some cheap seat covers (the seats seem to have been particularly tast for some small rodents) and tacky wheel trims. Apply these along with a bit of polishing / vacuuming action then advertised about the place for a none-too-expensive £150 o.n.o (taking a drop to £125 letting Joe Punter think he's got a bargain). After this I shall retire to the Red Lion and get propper shedded on the spoils. ;D

Sounds like an excellent plan!
Mine, however would go along the lines of buying it, then painting it matt black/army olive drab, slamming it to the ground and taking it to watercooled shows, entering in the show and shine and annoying all those who spent more than the car would owe me on bolts for their split-rims ;D

Or I could use the BBS I took off the Beemer... ;D Ha, I knew you'd finally crack and buy a VW one day! Welcome to the Polo brigade boyo! If you want some springs I've got a set cut for a 50mm drop laying around in the garage. I'm not gonna bother fitting them to mine now as I don't think anyone who buys the car will appreciate the harsh ride! With the BBS you know that would make sense!
