Here we have a 1984 Mercedes Benz 280 CE automatic. My dad bought this as a temporary run about while I'm sorting his Alfa. Unfortunately he's taken a dislike to it. He's finding it difficult to get in and out of with the seating being so low. I've now found him something else to potter about in so the Merc has to go. General condition is pretty good. It could do with a pair of front wings (£25 ish at Euro car parts). Goes like a rocket! (185 horses and relatively light). The 'box changes are smooth. Recent battery. Motor burns a bit oil. Would benefit from a top end overhaul ( or you could V8 it like we were intending doing.....) Door locks are a pain in the a**e.
