Right, it's got to go. Shouldn't have bought it, no time, no money no space and most importantly a new business venture is on the horizon and I need to economise etc etc.
I know eventually I would get to it, but the weather recently has put me miles behind, so I might not even get to it until next year!
Here’s a list of the good bits;
Engine sound - very clean, just had oil change, done about 88k. Gearbox sweet, clutch sweet, tyres good. Presentable from the outside. Interior in very good nick. Drives great. Also, there’s a load of gaskets, including the head gasket (don’t worry the heads fine). All new brake lines! Good tyres to.
Bad bits - Front right wing, not very good colour match, same with back left arch. Needs a fair bit of welding. All easy bits thankfully, the only hard bit is in the bulkhead, you may need to take some of the sound deadening material off. It needs alot of welding, but not much else.
More importantly if no one wants it, I will advertise it elsewhere, maybe a manta forum.
As it stands, including the test it stands me at £300.
Get it through the test for a few hundred, and youl have a very cheep classic car, so sensible offers please.
I can deliver to a reasonable distance.
Remember that engine will go straight into a manta.
Cheers
