Looking for a 350 SBC, or maybe a 289/302 SBF for a new project. Prefer one with a slushbox  if it's got one but not totally necessary. I'd prefer one that's complete and possibly a runner but I'm interested in core components as well - be it blocks, rods, heads, whatever. Should be able to collect as well. Anyone got anything goin'?  |

Ooof...that's a tricky one - It would really depend on what was up for grabs. If it was a complete but "runner" (sort of/treat as old core for a rebuild), maybe 250? There's a Vortex 4 bolt mains 350 on zEbay at the moment which has caught my eye but getting it is tricky and, whilst 550 quid is probably bargaintastic it's maybe stretching my budget a little at the moment |

Lewis, Real Steel do cut outs for like £350 IIRC, give them a call and see what they have. Theres a guy called Ade in Brum who does V8s as well, he's on the NSRA forum. Can;t recall his website sorry

vip.i can get some pics of the engine in the next few days,don't have a spec sheet as its not my engine it belongs to a mate who i share a workshop with,all i know is it ran a 10 in his camaro, i have had the rocker cover of and its got good valve springs and roller rockers,a decent inlet and doudle pumper carb,don't know any more than that.

I have a Chevy 283 and manual box , engine could do with a rebuild, is it any good to you ?
