To cut a long story short, the sump plug on my Scimmie is shagged. Not exactly abundant in breakers yards, the only way to get one is to purchase, via a main dealer, from the manufacturer. Considering that a new one is just under 3 quid, Id have to buy 10 of the gits before they will place an order.........................  Anybody got one laying around? The engine has stampings from 1977 and the bolt head size is 7/8ths. I will be happy to pay all additional costs ( P& P ). If anyones got one, PM us and I will PM U back. Thanks, in hope.  |

I wouldnt be surprised if a Crossflow used the same sump plug
Pinto will be different as they are metric but X-Flow is imperial

Think your right Dom, I have a feeling its a 3/4 UNC thread but don't quote me on that. Burton sell ones to take oil temp senders - so yours being knackered is perfect excuse for more gauges!
