What does 3.1 effective mean please? for a variety of reasons, not every pixel on the sensor is available for use in collecting an image. "Effective pixels", also known as "recorded pixels", gives the true count of the number of pixels that are actually used for capturing an image - and this is the number you should look for. |

i used to work in a nightclub taking photographs of people and this was the camera of choice.
they're great little things.
