1256cc, silver, 2door saloon. 2 owners, 26K
the car was first owned by some old lady near perth. then brought up to near inverness by the current owner. it ran out of mot 3 years ago and has sat in a shed since then. it was started every few months and then just on monday by myself, its going fine considering. it was resprayed 5 years ago and the bodywork is really good apart from some bubbles on the wheel arches and a little bit on the roof. the interior is very good except the carpet is frayed in places and the boot has some surface rust. the worst rust is underneath. the whole drivers side sill will need replacing and many other places need patches. the exhaust will probably need renewed and at least one spring, the shocks are very rusty but don't seem to be leaking. most of the wishbones and drivetrain parts are rusty but probably just need sandblasting. anyway, the car is really a strip down and rebuild project, do not underestimate the work involved. I did consider breaking for spares but overall the car is too good and after the welding there is not going to be the cost of painting the body so it could be quite a cheap project for someone.
£200 ono
the car is located near inverness. pick up only
heres a video of the engine running
