I am selling my sc14 supercharger as I'm skint!! its 2 lobe rootes type positive displacement supercharger and passes 1420cc per revoloution.. it has an electric clutch so can be switched on and off by a switch.. exellent working order.. good for many convertions as there is no adaptors to make just fit tubes intacke and outlet.. good for any engine between 1400 and 4000cc. £250....ono[glow=red,2,300][/glow] here is a picture of me fitting it in my old cortina.. 1/2 a day and it was done!! bodgetastic!!

diamentions are: overall length from front of the pully to the rear of casing is 300mm or 12" hight is 250mm or 10" to the outside of the mounting lugs.. and width is 130mm or 5" from intake to outlet face including the manifolds fitted it is 240mm or 9 1/2" overall. si yes it mounts like an alternator i.e. it has two top lugs inline on the bottom and two inline on the top.. that a 10mm bolt/bar can be passed through. si

does the supercharger need servicing like a g40 or g60 charger does?
would this be any better than my eaton m45 charger i have now. would it suit my polo g40

I wouldent say its any better though.... but don't eatons have a tendency to self destruct if revved too hard?? I could be wrong they all have a rev limit! o and servicing wise its just to change the gear oil every now and then.... si

my engine is a 1308cc superchargered polo engine currently running around 230bhp with the eaton. what will your supercharger let it rev to as my engine does rev quite high.
the eaton was off a bigger engine anyway. the reason I'm looking at yours is to between it has a switch for on and off as I'm putting a turbo on the polo also which will come in when the sc goes out. bit if your charger is sufficient it might be worth just using that.
how old is it btw. what year car is it off

it has an electric clutch so can be switched on and off by a switch.. Can air still be drawn thro a rootes type blower when it's not rotating?
