I spotted this Celica Supra for sale in Tunbridge Wells. The sign reads "Four Sale" - £1800. I know that some people here are into this sort of thing, so if anyone is interested I can get the phone number. Hope it's OK to post things like this here. Cheers, Antony

Not feeling the coour either, looks badly sprayed kandy? Looks to me like one of HOK's single stage pseudo-Kandy colours. Cheaper, easier to spray, not quite a Kandy...

theres either a hidden button or its triggered from the remote for the alarm. Actual opening is handled by a solenoid and maybe a popper.

And when the key fob or the solenoid fails, as we all know they do..........? Funny how some people would go to lengths to make their vehicles less reliable and could land themselves in problems later, all for the sake of hiding a 5 inch piece of plastic.

Usually you'll have a hidden door lock mechanism in case of failure,.. or you have a normal boot opener or something Good spot.. well posted by the way...

Usually you'll have a hidden door lock mechanism in case of failure,.. or you have a normal boot opener or something Good spot.. well posted by the way... yup, thats the way to do it. Budget way is a second wire from the popper through the car and out the front, and you can yank it, otherwise you wire up a second switch elsewhere. Or as said, through the boot. Also, £1800 seems a little steep for a celica supra, I know they're becoming a modern classic, but it'd have to be GOOD for that price!
