Accident damaged 1990 Mercedes 190e 1.8 Manual
I chucked this into a ditch a while back and don’t have time to fix it. When I crashed it, it bumped over a curb which damaged the underside of the car;
-Engine mounts broken, welds are cracked where mounts meet engine bay
-Big hole in the sump
-Gear linkages are bent
-Prop is in the boot and comes with a new centre mount and bearing as that got knocked off
-Front bumper is cracked and bent
-I took the exhaust off but its all there
-Puncture in one tyre
-Anti roll bar looks bent
-Handbrake doesn’t work
So not much really!
There could be more wrong with it, you are welcome to come and have a look. The car is in Loughborough and will obviously need to be towed.
Bodywork is in good nick, interior is a bit shabby and needs a clean. Nice split rim look alloys, need a good refurb. Car was tuned by M18 motorsport but I don’t know what was done or when, the last owner thought it may have had some headwork done but there is no guarantee this is true. It’s also been factory lowered.
Hopefully someone can use it for spares, I don’t like to see cars go to the scrapyard.
