Since owning this lil brown beastie I have changed the oil, filter and coolant. Pulled out all the seats and carpet on a search for rust. Floor pan is totally solid (thanks to the under seal from new and mud flaps, naff as they are, they have stopped all the potential stone chips and resulting rust.) While I was there I took out all the sound deadening (saving your self that blister) and random bits of un-necessary fluff and plastic flappy bits.
The heater was leaking so I plumbed out and removed it. Its summer soon so wasn’t too worried about it, come winter you may want to put one back in. I know a man who has a spare and I believe an ae86 one will fit too. Every thing removed has been saved and kept so you could have the leaky heater repaired if you wanted and I still have all the original hoses and clips and the radio and speakers. It has the cradle and wiring to fit a modern CD/Radio too.
Typical of the KE there is rust on the inside of the rear wheels wells/ arches. One side has been repaired. It’s scruffy but solid. And the other side has a hole the size of a 20p piece. Easy fix.
What else.. Engine is fine, 104,000 miles on the clock, it ain’t no race engine but, starts and runs good all the time. It did the 6 hour round trip to Silverstone no probs, got a bit hot in the blazing sun, discovered the fan was not switching on.. so once back home instead of fiddling about with it I have simply rigged up a switch under the dash so you can turn it on and off when ever you need it. Since doing this it’s been great and have been continuing to use the KE as me daily driver to work.
The carpets are back in and it looks all stock again. Loosing the sound deadening and heater junk has lost about 20kg in weight alone! (yes, I weighed it!)
Clutch is fine. Front shocks fine. Rear shocks SHOT! and a with comedy squeak. Adam had been saving me some tasty AE86 shocks and springs, I’m sure he’ll be happy to sell you them .
Arches are all good, one has a bubble just above the arch but, that won’t effect any arch :smash:.
It’s got it’s scruffy bits, but it really is solid. It’s had some new wings and slightly not matching re-spraying at some point. Which actually took me ages to notice. Doesn’t bother me, no one notices till you point it out and if it does bug you, and you’re not keen on the brown, It’s a great excuse to change the colour!
It also comes with an brand new KE70 specific OMP steering wheel hub adapter and a not as sexy steering wheel as the one in the pictures.. I’m keeping that! oh yeah, and a tyte square front number plate.
This KE deserves to be well sorted and sent sideways! If you need any help finding the parts, what fits what info, I’m happy to help. I’ve done all the research, and my good friend Adam is a great source and very helpful with all the random info.
Oh yeah, my reason for selling.. By dumb luck and partial insanity I have found me another old Toyota that I really fancy so, this KE is up for grabs.
Priority will not necessarily go to the person who’s quickest to answer this thread but who can get them selves organised with the dosh and can get their ass to Norwich.

That's the price people, if you want it, that's how much it costs! However, I'll knock £50 off if you've gotta come a long way
Cheers for looking
