cos i knda bought one that i have no use for and nowhere to keep!! the mazda pickup is the priority at the minute. no pics at the mo, but a rough description is- sprayed satin black, '84-ish, 2.8 straight 6, manual, should[/l] have an lsd, ive not checked yet. no interior to speak of, its got one door card and about half the dash left. but what it does have is a bolt in 6 point rollcage, corbeu bucket seat, securon harness, and momo wheel . i know these things like to rust, but from the quick poke around ive had its pretty damn good. its had one bit of rear shock turret wleded before and may need a little bit of arch on the same side. stock wheels, ok tyres, induction hole cut in bonnet (neatly and meshed), bonnet pinned, perspex 1/4 windows, switch and button ignition, stainless backbox on the exhaust.
bad bits- sunroof has been filled over and a roof scoop cut into the sunroof panel. drivers side front wing and door heavily dented where it was put into the tyres sideways. runs and drives, stops, etc, but no MOT. headlights have a life of their own!
£350 as is, can sort it out niggles and MOT for extra. would swop or p/x with a ford 9" rear axle or some interesting 5x114 bolt pattern wheels, preferably deep dish/split rims.
can do pics for these seriously interested.

I soooooooo want! I've been wanting one on and off for a wee while anyway, but I'm only 19 so insurance is just under £2000, I was hoping to get one in a year or 2 as once I'm 21 they'll insure me on it as a classic car, but due to the 2.8 engine they wont! I have a set of 5x112 alloys, if you get get some wiggly bolts VERY rare. (as in, cant find another pair anywhere), have a look for the make cromodora...

pics as promised. the bits of stainless exhaust tube welded in to 'add to' the cage have now been removed!! exterior is a bit bashed, scratches and small dents only really, except the bashed up drivers side. previous welding. it could do with a little more (1"x2" patch) on the arch forward of the shock mount. both floorpans, sills, boot floor etc are all sweet from what i can tell. motor is clean, no leaks, all fluids are good. interior, well, this is all there is- unfortunately someones taken the liberty to swipe the bonnet pins, the air filter and the ally ignition panel though in the last couple of days, so it now comes without them, unless you want me to replace them for an extra £50.

Shine a light, that looks like it has been a victim of the real 'knob head' end of the current drift craze. Whoever did that welding needs punched in the face.

yeah, its a bit of a chavs interpretation of drift!! its not like its beyond redemption though, its got the right parts on it and its not hard to steer in the right direction, easier than welding up a right shitter. redo the rear strut tower welding, tidy it up a bit, change the tyres, drop it, job done.

Thats a class post Sir!!! ;D Always fancied one of these and the fact that it looks like a shed is somewhat more appealing to me. No worries about it getting scratched or keyed in the car park and it looks mean and nasty. If only I had the money and the space, Id rip yer arms off for it!

not too bad, easily saveable! Bit of work and you'd have yourself a reasonably quick fun tuneable trackday/drift/run around car! I'll have 1 in 2 years time (hopefully)

i did think about that- but ive had to put the v8 4-5" back through the firewall, so theres no way a six would fit. i know the gearboxes are good though, supposed to be very strong. theres a few other cool bits i could use too, but id rather not part it if someone can use it.

That sort of thing would make an excellent donor car for someone who wanted to upgrade a Cressida...and get divorced.
I only have one of those goals on my list of things to do, and it doesn't involve being single. ;D

How about the "extra for the mot" ? I am looking for a cheap drift car to beat around in. it would probly knock the price up to about £500 witnh the time id have to spend on it and the price of a test. if it don't sell soon, I'm buying as load of bits to coilover it
