When I get this running perfectly it will be for sale, but in the mean time I thought i'd see if there was any interest.
It doesn't run badly, just not 100%.
Since i've owned it I have receipt for almost £500 including a new starter motor and flywheel. The garage that carried out the work said it was one of the best R5 they had seen in a long time.
The general condition is pretty good for a 21 year old car with waffer thin panels, with two small rust patches on the driver door and various scratches in the paint work.
Although people don't like the rare being used, I believe this is, being a Phase1 Gt Turbo and coming in the most sought after factory colour available.
Externaly it looks totaly standard, bar the larger bore SS exhaust, with the original alloys in unmarked condition.
The jewel in the CROWN is the interior, which can only be described as practicaly mint, as it was kept in storage for a few years.
It has quite an extensive history, with everyreceipt from previous owners, which stacks up to two ring binders full, one mainly consisting of owners club magazines full of useful how-to's etc.
This car on PistonHeads does have a very low millage, but has also been for sale forever, but it does say it has rust under the front screen, of which mine has none.

Anyway here are some pics of mine
If anyone is seriously interested drop me a PM
Cheers
