Basically Big Brother starts wednesday. Now to prevent myself going near a television for the next 3 months, shouting at it a lot, and throwing things at it / SWMBO for watching the bilge that it is, I want something to play with. Needs to be: Easy to fix/play with Preferably MOT'd so I can get it home Not too rare that finding parts are impossible Fun £300-£500 (For the coolest car ever I could go to £700) Surrey ish area. well within 50-100ish miles. don't mind if its actually all ok, I'd just take it apart and put it back together again while Big Bothers on. That E30 Touring that just sold would have been PERFECT for me. Anything to tempt me with? Oh and pics. thanking youuuuuuu

How long until you want it? I'm aiming to have an MOT on my Chevette in the next fortnight. It needs cosmetic work doing. I could also sell a 1.8 manta engine with big wing sump/dizzy and a type 9 bell housing with it depending on the price. I can't find an pictures at the moment, but it's an '83 Opal Green Vauxhall Chevette.
If you'd be prepared to do a little welding then I know a guy who could get it to you on a flat bed for about £100, and naturally I'd knock quite a bit off the price selling with no MOT.

I've got a Samba convertible that'll be going on the 'bay in the next week or so.
MOT'd to Feb 08 and had a bodywork restoration with recent hood. But ... it needs at least an oil pump and other bits (some supplied) - and I'm in West Yorkshire.

I'd hope to have something in pieces on the drive in circa 10 days ish. OOooooh @ convertible for the summer. ooooOOOh again at Shovit with fun bits. If either of you want to post more details or PM me, I like the sound of both. Altho if the samba doesnt run it could be a curse word to get all the way down here.

My Accord. Bang on the money, T&Ted with lots of history, would easily get you back down South after a train journey up here. 4x100mm PCD so easy wheel choices. Drives lovely.

My Modified Black Rapid is for sale on E-Bay? What do you want for it? I just got rid of my Estelle, I'd love a Rabid. If the price is right, the cash is waiting for it. (back in 4 hours, postmans overtime awaits ;D )

Still got the Fabia, its got a fresh MOT on it, so I'm trying to sell it. Even at £1500, £500 or so cheaper than every other one, I cant shift it. Given up caring with that, I fancy a Rabid! Boycie, PM me what you want for it. Will PM you other chaps shortly, sorry, I don't mean to be rude.

Ahem I'm trying to be on my best behaviour here..... I don't think my childish, possibly abusive and thoroughly petulant behaviour would transfer over here very well! hehe.

My Dad is thinking of selling his 1986 e28 520i, in Arctic Blue. Excellent condition, mechanically perfect. He is a mechanic and has serviced it since new. Is that of interest to you? I am in Tunbridge Wells and the car will be there for the next few weeks.

the suspension is great, and quite straightforward to work on. However apart from the odd top up, there's nowt wrong with it. Best thing is the engine, proven 1.9GTI lump, and the car is really comfortable.
