Just brought a motor with a private plate. I'm notsure how it all works but i presume i can sell it. God knows what its worth but i don't want alot. so if it has any significance to you , give me a shout

Looking on a reg site, there's a BIG 4662 and BIG 4995 for £750, but then there's also a BIG 4226 at £445. I'd guess that you might get a few hundred - but the Irish 'plates (I thinks that what yours is) are pretty much the bottom end of the market. It's worth getting a quote, but if it's not that much it's probably worth keeping on your car because of it's ageless-ness (is that even a word?).

How much is the transfer fee nowadays?
DVLA has very similar for £199 so youre not far out.
