I passed this yesterday walking to the train station as my Samba's dead (thanks todg8833 eBay seller ). It's a C-reg BMW 320 in silver. No MOT and tax expired March. I phoned the seller (Details available) and the current owner's had the car for about 12 years. There's history available and it's done 69,000 miles. Condition seems good apart from the driver's door, which has rusted at one corner. He's asking £400 which I thought was a high considering there's no MOT and he was vague about whether it'd been put in for one and failed. The car's in Batley, West Yorkshire if anyone's interested. Also, around the corner someone's got a Mk2 RX7 (Y-reg I think) up at £795. I'll try to get more details. David

Current vehicle collection: 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero convertible - in mid-life crisis yellow No new retro as yet ... all attempts to sneak one onto the drive have failed.

I passed this yesterday walking to the train station as my Samba's dead What was wrong with it if you don't mind me asking? Looked nice (just slapped his name into Ebay and had a look) Either the oil pump or oil feeder pipe's gone. It doesn't look to have damaged the engine, but I've given up and it's going on sale as soon as I get the V5. Also, the seller lied about some items on the MOT which he'd issued. The samba needs track control arms (I'd just bought two new ones) and front shock absorbers (also just bought two) plus front brake discs, pads and possibly calipers (sourced). Bodywork's fine as it's been restored in 2002 and the hood's nearly new. Also, it's only done 70k miles, not 90k! However, I need something that works - therefore it's probably going on sale shortly.
