I have a 1985 saab 900 turbo, black, mot'd until July, tax for 6 months. Lots of work been carried out by previous owner who was an enthusiast. Solid, mechanically very good, new engine, refurbed wheels, interior is in excellent condition. Bottoms of doors require attention and some bubbles on the paintwork needs addressing to make perfect. Looking for about £800 or swap for anything interesting and old.

How healthy does the gearbox sound and is it a 5 or 4 speed 'un?

Hi Tigran, the box is the 5 speed, it shifts ok but there is a slight whine when in 5th but apart from that seems fine.
Unimexol- Thanks for the offer but I'm looking to buy something which will cost less to insure and hopefully be tax exempt.
