I'm drunk right now so I'm going to... erm ... "zzzzzzzz""... mrsigma... how close are you to an engine swap... engine out? or nearly engine buying?... thats a cool project... |

not close enuf yet, picking my engine and bits up this week. it should all just bolt in as the na version of the engine was an option on my car and the starion bay is exactly the same as mine. then its "just" a case of wiring , fuel lines, return feed to the tank , prop shaft shortening and a million other little jobs to frustrate the hell out of me. oh and the fact that i have no garage and nowhere to work on the curse word , but I'm sure itll come good in the end. ;D

picking up a huge bunch of bits on saturday and with a bit of luck ill be shipping it down to a mates workshop and getting him to mount it up and stuff while I'm at work. i can do the fiddly bits after that.
retro show is my only deadline, ive heard the lancer register is bringing a bunch of very quick lancer ex turbos down so the strip should be interesting as one of thems running nearly five hundred bhp and most of the rest arnt all that far behind.
i think I'm gonna get my ass kicked.
